Google Maps View of the many plots of land which have been left dormant since 2008. Plot #3772 is where the church once stood.

Plotting & Surveying the Land where the Church once Stood. Standing in the main hall right at the entrance of the building after completing my ‘memory plotting’.

Archival Photograph of the Building where my Father’s church was located. A multi-use business building with remnants of an old bank & clinic. The church itself was located in the front room on the right with the large window wall.

Snippet of the deconstruction of the building right at the decisive moment. The building was demolished in 2008.

Alcohol Transfers are the process in which one transfers an inkjet transparency image from its base and onto another surface, in this case: Japanese Printmaking Paper This image shows the beginning of surveying & plotting the land.

White Plastic Chairs decorated the church. As father’s health declined, so did his congregation & the sea of white plastic chairs become more prominent.

Archival Family Photograph of the inside of the church facing the street. The Passover tradition of washing feet and cleaning with holy oil is being conducted at the forefront of the image.
